The 2025 Spring Festival travel rush has officially concluded. According to data, Guangdong Province, China's economic powerhouse, recorded over 1.11 billion cross-regional passenger trips during the 40-day travel period, representing a year-on-year increase of 5.5% and accounting for approximately 12.32% of the national total.

During the 2025 Spring Festival travel rush, Guangdong recorded approximately 1.045 billion passenger trips by road, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 5.38%. Railway passenger volume reached 50.64 million trips, up by 9.48% compared to the previous year. Waterborne passenger transport totaled 5.46 million trips, a decline of 5.91% year-on-year. Meanwhile, air travel saw 10.73 million passenger trips, marking a 6.16% increase from the previous year.

In terms of vehicle traffic, Guangdong's highways saw approximately 297 million vehicle trips, with a daily average of 7.44 million trips, marking an 8.7% increase year-on-year. The Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link recorded about 3.99 million vehicle trips, hitting a peak of 161,100 trips on February 4th, a new historical high. The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge experienced a total of 559,300 vehicle trips, reflecting a growth of 19.61%.

The 2025 travel season also marked the first full implementation of the reservation-based ferry crossing system across the Qiongzhou Strait. A total of 4.14 million passenger trips were made on the Qiongzhou Strait ferries, with 1.061 million vehicles transported in and out of Hainan Island.

Additionally, over 800 image surveillance and drone monitoring devices along the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link were connected to multiple smart systems to ensure safe and smooth travel during the peak season. The active traffic management system on the Nansha Bridge significantly improved traffic efficiency, increasing average daily speeds by 64%, reducing average congestion duration by 65%, and saving 6.34 minutes of travel time during peak hours. The time taken to handle accidents decreased by 56%, lowering the risk of accidents and secondary incidents.

广东春运跨区域人员流动量超11.1亿人次

2025年春运已正式落幕。数据显示，2025年春运40天里，经济第一大省广东跨区域人员流动量累计超11.1亿人次，同比增长5.5%，约占全国12.32%。

2025年春运期间，广东公路人员流动量累计约10.45亿人次，同比增长5.38%；广东铁路客运量累计达5063.55万人次，同比增长9.48%；水路客运量累计达546.29万人次，同比减少5.91%；民航客运量累计达1072.68万人次，同比增长6.16%。

车流量方面，广东高速公路累计车流量约2.97亿车次，日均车流量743.53万车次，同比增长8.7%。深中通道累计车流量约399.22万车次，2月4日车流量达16.11万车次，创历史新高。港珠澳大桥累计车流量55.93万车次，同比增长19.61%。

2025年春运也是琼州海峡首次全面推行“过海预约”机制。琼州海峡轮渡（吞吐量）累计414.43万人次，进出岛车辆106.09万辆。

同时，深中通道全线800多个图像监控、无人机空巡等设备与多个智慧系统相连接，保障这条世界级跨海集群工程春运期间平安顺畅出行。南沙大桥的主动交通流管控系统使南沙大桥通行效率大幅提升，日均平均速度提升64%，平均拥堵时长下降65%，高峰小时行程时间节约6.34分钟；事故处理时长减少56%，降低了事故风险及二次事故率。
